Elon Musk: Greatest James Bond Super-Villain Ever? [1]

The great Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo has a new post that caused a Roman candle to go off in my brain: We are living inside a James Bond movie, and Elon Musk is the PERFECT Bond Super-Villain.
Consider: His company, SpaceX, controls more than half the functioning satellites orbiting the globe. Musk “has been running what amounts to his own foreign policy, carrying on private dialogs w Putin and other global strongmen.” He, personally, on a whim (or a bribe) can swing the balance of power in a war by turning off/on his Starlink system.
He owns/controls Twitter, “one of the globe’s most powerful and pervasive communications mediums…and has made himself essentially too big to touch.”
He is literally buying voters in the Wisconsin race for state Supreme Court Judge. He has a ridiculous amount of influence over all legislation in the United States because he owns every Republican because of his ever-present threat to pour unlimited money into primary races to destroy incumbents.
He and his minions have carte blanche, with no legal basis, to invade any part of the US government and rummage around wherever they so choose, fire anyone they want, and destroy any government agency they don’t like...which is virtually all of them.
So let’s see….world’s richest man, controls world’s most powerful satellite network with life and death power over world governments, controls the American political system with his vast wealth and unchecked ability to bury candidates under a mountain of money, born under an Apartheid system, with a belief that the biggest problem Western Civilization faces is too much empathy...f you were a screenwriter creating a Bond villain, what would you change? How could you create a character who is more powerful, and more evil?
And who/where is James Bond in this scenario? (Your answer should not include the words “Chuck” or “Schumer.”
