haven’t seen this story mentioned here yet, I think it’s a really important understanding that all my friends here need to read and appreciate it. It really rings true to me. I’m not going to pull out any quotes, you need to read the whole thing, it’s that important. This Substack writer has the background to recognize that two very well timed major leaks in the last week, the Elon Musk Taiwan defense briefing, and the signal ‘accidental’ inclusion of the Atlantic editor have to be connected and highly purposeful. We can only hope it’s true.

I also want to take this opportunity to draw attention here to the fact that Trump does not seem mentally capable of understanding signal at all. he has had a couple of opportunities to address it and completely whiffed. He’s had plenty of opportunity to be briefed on the gravity of this security failure, and he is totally lost. His mental competence needs to be questioned immediately and forcefully.

Following the news, This is what happens when you nominate completely unqualified morons for national security positions and intimidate Republican senators to ignore their advice and consent responsibility, then think you can get away with lying about their foolish and dangerous dereliction of duty.
Our anger is beyond words. These security vulnerabilities would have been identified if a proper FBI background check had been done for all of these people. Shameful.
