The SignalGate OPSEC FUBAR Song
[To the tune of The Mr. Ed Theme, of course of course, with some revisions]
A skiff is a boat
And it will float
A scif is a place
Where you must take note
To not display
What you promote
Or it’s treason*, Mr. Ed
Now let us devote
A poll or vote
To whether or not
Such an anecdote
Should broadcast be
From côte to côte
And be breezily reread!
Pete will yakity yak, it’s cheap
And Signal saves the day
No worrying about mission creep
When everything just goes away!
The things they promote
Are not by rote
And nor should they be
Unsecured, remote
The Kremlin! That’s a nasty note!

*I know, I know, we have exhaustively discussed, for years on end, why we’re not “really” at war when we are out somewhere on the other side of the world dropping bombs on people, so it’s not “really” treason… let’s not, this time, and just say we did.
