They just “Don’t get it”

Are any of you out there tired of how, even the left wing media, covers the debacle going down in America today. I call it the, “they just don’t get it” syndrome.

Most stories online and cable whine about what has just transpired during the 24 hour news cycle. Is anyone really surprised by what, Republicans, Fox News or Newsmax, say or do anymore. The bottom has long ago been reached, But, it came so fast and furious, that not many noticed, or more likely, wanted to notice.

Is anyone surprised or moved, anywhere, on the dial when it comes to the relentless amount of, lies, grift, boorish behaviour, or outrageous assualts, on what appears to be a fading democracy, that is covered daily by the usual suspects.

The strategy of a coup and an ascending regime such as this is to desensitize the masses. Check! And with the help of media both left and right Now it all just seems normal. People, there is no more normal. And for whatever reason it seems like the media, most of our democratic leaders, and a big part of America, just “don’t get it.” that normal is on life support. And when you simply refuse to “get it” because of career, business, peer pressure, wilful ignorance, you can’t comprehend the dire nature of the times. I heard a phrase during covid explaing why some people couldn’t cope with masking, vaccines and the simple beflief that it even existed. It was the term “Cognitive Inflexilbility” The inability to comprehend the reality around them due to a rigid sense of self. and belief systems. I suspect the same is in play in regard to the lack of outrage at the ease that the most powerful country in the world was toppled by a conman, a Russian dictator, and deplorable cadre of politicians, mainly Republicans.

The media instead simply keeps telling us about all the souless things this cadre of conmen, grifters, junior nazis, hypocrites, and liars do everyday. What we should be talking about is shutting down the incessant tidal wave of garbage that the Russian cyber division of disinformation has been freely disbursing through licensed such channels as Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, and every other entity that is actively waging war and selling out the United States of America for a Russian dictator. And if you were intellectually honest, you could never win a debate on whether Trump is a Russian asset and you trying to hold the position he is not. That alone should send shivers down anyone’s spine. But lets instead talk about crazy people saying crazy things because that is their schtick.

But people “who don’t get it” think that you need to know more of what you already know. They tell you that shutting down the government is the worst thing that can happen and it is not a good time to take a stand. Good for Wallstreet maybe. They are counting on 2026 elections to take back the house. Look what a bulldozer of ignorance can do in less than three months. Will there be any organizations or deparments such as FEMA, PLanned Parenhood, Department of Education, NPR, Social Security, National Security, EPA, Deparment of Health, libraries, and i suspect given time, and a few protests, the freedom of assembly and protest. will also be gone. Sure let’s wait till then.

You who get it know all this will come true. But what can be done about it. I would adise to investigate those networks collusion with Russia, for any future falsehoods i would sue into oblivion with speedy trials. Remember what Fox New N,etwork and the others have done is traitorous. Their on air personalities continue to funnel Russian propaganda and lies almost every night.

I am sorry to say i think it is already lost. It was a good run. With the Gen Z 18-25 demographic buying into the idea of, they can better manage their money than Social Security a future voting bloc is developing for the extreme right Republicans. That along with a complete capitulation by the corporate media to tell the real story and talk truth to power and inform the citizenry. The courts did not hold, blatant partisanship is now the new “norm”. And above all that i don’t think the citizens are up to it. Tear the system down, and maybe i will care or notice when the wi-fi, internet, and lights go out.
