Jeffrey Goldberg from The Atlantic was added to a Signal group where plans to bomb the Houthis were discussed two hours before the bombing became public. That was preceted by days of discussion between very senior National Security figures, and everything going to Goldberg, who really couldn’t believe he was reading text messages between the Secretary of Defence, the National Security Adviser, and the Vice President, among others.

And there is also this:

Conceivably, Waltz, by coordinating a national-security-related action over Signal, may have violated several provisions of the Espionage Act, which governs the handling of “national defense” information, according to several national-security lawyers interviewed by my colleague Shane Harris for this story. Harris asked them to consider a hypothetical scenario in which a senior U.S. official creates a Signal thread for the express purpose of sharing information with Cabinet officials about an active military operation. He did not show them the actual Signal messages or tell them specifically what had occurred.

P.S. Goldberg was probably added to the Signal group by national security adviser Michael Waltz, so if alcohol was involved in this breach it was not caused by Hegseth’s drinking.
