First was Witkoff's surprising interview with Putin's mouthpiece, the supremacist Tucker Carlson, which I won't link here for obvious reasons, he now says Putin is not a bad guy.

Sure, I understand he is trying to be "iplomatic," in order to get a ceasefire deal.
But even that has to have some limits.
Just as he gushed over Qataris (who have been playing the two sides of "mediators" and propagate for / shielding Hamas). He said Hamas can stay in power (unarmed). What would it cost him to say some mild positive word on Abbas vs genocidal (1 2 3 4 5 6) Hamas committing atrocities on both people, for example?
