Look we may care about aid to Africa or the safeguarding of democracy. But it’s a pretty good bet that many or most Americans are either indifferent, uninformed, or prefer dictatorship.

trump is having some success in implementing cruelty towards migrants and reducing immigration. Also he has shown cruelty towards transgender groups and minorities. These are both quite popular.

On the stock markets it’s down a little. But if he abandons tariffs, stock market will be fine. Clearly he’s likely to do this because he’s too chicken to truly crash the market.

on this doge thing, Americans probably like crapping on our dedicated federal workers. As long as social security and other services remain functioning, Americans won’t care about these cuts.

so overall trump may be on track to have strong support for midterms and beyond.
