White to move and mate in two #643 -- Soul food [1]

In September of 2006, my favourite Dublin-area Indian restaurant, Indie Spice, played a role in preparing what was perhaps the most expensive Indian takeaway of all time. I actually managed to find a good non-paywalled article describing the events here:

Feature article in Belfast Telegraph

About that 6-foot long Bengali freshwater fish... it had to be split up into 3 pieces to be cooked in separate ovens. My wife and I are regulars at Indie Spice and good friends of Tariq Salahuddin, the founder and owner of both the Belfast and Dublin branches. We happened to be dining in the Dublin branch that evening, and I actually got to taste a piece of that fish before it was rushed to Dublin Airport to meet up with the rest of the takeaway that was prepared in the Belfast establishment. So I got to participate in that piece of culinary history, albeit vicariously. It was all over the news at the time -- great publicity for Indie Spice, which is still on the go to this day.

And now, on to tonight's puzzle. Below are links to an on-line board to help you work the puzzle, and the solution. But don't peek at the answer until you've made an honest attempt to solve the puzzle, or you'll spoil the fun!
