Elon accuses South Africa of white genocide and Donald joins him [1]

It wasn't enough that WHIDEI (White DEI) proponent Elon Musk had to make outrageous lies about South Africa stealing land from the white farmers and Donald Trump used his platform to amplify them. Now Musk is accusing South Africa of fomenting white genocide.
Musk first shared a different video on Feb. 9th in an X post. (X link). The video is two years old.
According to a report from South Africa by WION (YouTube), the "Kill the Boer" chant was chanted at a rally on Saturday in Johannesburg.
Musk's X post was from March 22, and reposted this X post with the video. There's a white lady dancing on stage, too.
The phrase "kill the Boer, kill the farmer" was uttered by Peter Mokaba in 1993, at the height of the anti-apartheid demonstrations that almost turned into a civil war.
It was also chanted at his funeral in 2002. It was turned into a song.
In 2010, a South African High Court ruled that it was unconstitutional to utter or sing the phrase "dubul' ibhunu" (shoot the boer), ruling that it was hate speech not covered by by Section 16 of the South African Constitution, which protects free speech.
The African National Council said that the song and the chant needed to be understood in context of the fight against apartheid.
The ANC secretary General, Sweden Mantashe explained, "When we talk about amabhunu, we are not talking about whites, we were talking about the system of apartheid. It represented the system. The song is not a new invention."
"The biggest problem I have is when journalists interpret dubul 'ibhunu as 'Kill the Boer, Kill the farmer,' which is a vulgarized interpretation of the song. And in my view, that journalist who vulgarized the interpretation is inciting conflict."
I was wondering how two words could turn into two phrases. Google translate from Zulu to English makes it "shoot the bird" which doesn't make much sense. In Xhosa, the language it's supposed to be in, translate comes up with "shoot the gun." That a little better, but it doesn't get close to "kill the boer." The Wikipedia entry says it's "kill the boer" or "kill the farmer."
In 2022, the South African High Court ruled it was neither hate speech or an incitement to violence. The problem is that the Afrikaners want to take it at the literal meaning, while those who say it, mean for it to remember the struggle against apartheid.
Here's a video from a year ago explaining the history of the phrase and song. (YouTube).
Here's a report from Johannesburg by WION on the use of the song at the rally commemorating Human Rights Day.
Musk goes way out of line in his new post that the ANC is "actively promoting white genocide," and "killing white people." When people want to take things the wrong way, they will. Bear in mind this happened at a civil rights celebration and it is part of anti-apartheid history.
To add substance to the first lie, he backed it up with another:
"A month ago, the South African government passed a law legalizing taking property from white people at will with no payment."
I've already covered disassembling this falsity numerous times. The law is just a hair different than what was already in the South African Constitution. Payment is always offered, and expropriation only happens when it's in the national interest for unused land to be made usable by Black Africans. Unused land. Not land being farmed.
There is no outrage, Elon, because there doesn't need to be any. There is reporting on the rally and your outburst. You really need a history lesson on your own country of origin.
Then we get to the real reason for all of this. Musk is feigning victimhood because it's all about money.
"Starlink can't get a license to operate in South Africa simply because I'm not black. How is that right?"
Musk seems to be be complaining about the Black Economic Empowerment law in South Africa requiring telecommunications companies to sell 30% of the equity in local subsidiaries.
Musk can operate Starlink in South Africa. He just needs to file for a license and follow the ownership rules. He hasn't filed for a license, according to South African officials.
"Sir, that's NOT true, and you know it! It's got nothing to do with your skin color. Starlink is welcome to operate in South Africa provided there's compliance with local laws. This is a global International trade and investment principal," said Clayson Monyela, a senior official at the foreign affairs department.
Elon Musk and Trump are just wallowing in perceived white persecution. Playing the victim gets them sympathy. I was worried about this "kill the boer" phrase until I researched it. On the face it sounds terrible. The reality is far different. It would be like Trump saying "We shall overcome" is racist because it was a Black DEI chant against white people. They did need to act against those who still oppressed them. A lot of white people and other minorities joined the civil rights movement, too.
It's so easy for the white victimhood grievance to take over people who have a limited knowledge of history, and just a limited knowledge in general.
Elon and Donald should be smarter than that. But, they're not.
