We Need a Freak'n Leader! Will it Come From the Democratic Party? [1]

Neville Chamberlain and Charles Schumer, distant relatives?.
I’ve been trying to figure out why the Democratic leadership presently has no visible or prominent Party leader during our nation’s greatest crisis since the Cuban Missile Crisis, Pearl Harbor and the Civil War. You know, someone who gets air time, media coverage, publicity and leads!
Unfortunately we don’t have a President Kennedy, FDR or Abe Lincoln to guide us.
Someone who responds to the atrocities, illegal and unconstitutional acts Trump and Musk are committing daily while we still have a government left to defend.
Someone who resists and fights.
Leadership That Doesn’t Lead
RESIST! RESIST RESIST! RESIST! RESIST! RESIST! RESIST! RESIST! RESIST!
The answer maybe disturbingly simple. The leadership doesn’t appear to want one. They prefer instead to do their best impressions of Neville Chamberlain.
But why don’t they want a visible, energetic leader to confront Trump? Could it be because it might lead to a power related challenge by a more militant, fighting faction? One that might upset some of the Party’s wealthy donors.
Useless
Schumer seems to think that he constitutes the Party’s non-leading pencil pushing point man. The one that calls the shots. The type that don’t make any media ripples and perform no useful functions anymore.

It’s politics 101. At a mega-crisis time like this, we don’t just need a backroom advocate who’s strings are pulled by someone else. We need a front and center leader with the right stuff to emerge. We need a face and identity.Times of struggle create such leaders, just allow one to emerge.
Strategy and tactics should be planned by those best qualified. Everyone should be encouraged to resist as best they can.
Millions can soon be ready to follow suit. Either he or she comes from the Democratic Party or from someplace else.
The image the Party leadership is putting forth is one of collaboration and surrender.
Whether they intend to or not. If I thought there was a plan and strategy behind it, to be quickly followed by a counter-attack, I could be convinced to wait and see. But this seems highly unlikely.
Good leaders also develop other leaders and activists and do not try to only build their own strength and power. []
We need a leader NOW, not tomorrow!
