It is interesting to see who chooses to fold to the gangster state when our democracy is on the line.
Columbia University has an endowment of about 14 billion dollars. And yet, despite that fact, it decided to cede power to dumbest authoritarian regime in all history for 400 million bucks-- most egregiously, by allowing the Trumpites to set its academic agenda. In effect, they have ceased being a meaningful educational institution in any true sense.
In short, Columbia has chosen to commit institutional suicide rather than take a principled stand against unconstitutional madness and the greased slide towards fascism. What serious student would pay for a degree from the new campus of Trump U?
In other news. The Paul Weiss law firm allows the orange one to extort them. Clarence Darrow they ain’t. Who in Gilgamesh’s name would trust these clowns to represent them if they could be bought so easily?
Trying times are always instructive, providing a needed lesson on who we can count on when the shit hits the fan.
