We’re still falling further behind every day, and it’s clearly beyond hope that we’ll ever catch up with the torrent of crazy. Luckily for us, it’s an easy thing to trust that this audience is seeing the “big ticket” items each day.
196 days until the “legal” funding for what’s left of the US government runs out… again!
1,403 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
594 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
655 days—if we have those elections—until we seat a new Congress
The Invasion Bingo random country generator says today’s an unlucky day for: Singapore!
What do you think? Are we ready to invade in order to force a sequel to Crazy Rich Asians? Would our troops get caned if captured? Do I have the time to look up something actually relevant about Singapore?
They’d probably rather I didn’t, given the context. Let’s just hope we can continue to think nice, if patronizing thoughts about them for the balance of the day.
