I’ve been lurking on Daily Kos since shortly after the Iraq invasion and seen so many moments when many generations of Kossacks have questioned their faith in the Democratic Party, and the resulting pie fights.
I’ve heard so many explanations why and theories what we should do, but all these years there was only one explanation that was posted right here on Daily Kos that has stuck with me ever since.
It is essential and continues to haunt my thoughts and dreams to this day.
There is a newer generation of Daily Kos that likely has never seen this article, and I think every single Kossack on this site should read it to understand how we got here, and how long it has been ongoing. The spirit of Al From still runs through the Democratic establishment.
It is essential to figuring out a solution — we will never resolve our issues with the Democratic Party until everyone understands this background.
