Where are our Organizers and Planners [1]
['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.']

Where are our organizers and planners, using the latest technology amplifiers, and data tools?
There is a view (Ezra Klein interviewing Andrey Mir, ex-CIA media analyst www.nytimes.com/...) that Elon Musk is monomaniacally aiming AI at the operations of the government, and finding all the pressure points he can quickly hit. Ezra Klein makes the point that all AI systems optimize towards a goal. So what is Musk’s goal? What prompt are they using to parse the internals of the government operations, and social effects?
My followup is then, where is our analysis group? Where are our planners, tacticians, and AI equipped social and political analysts?
When populist AM radio jocks hit the media in the ‘90’s (Rush Limbaugh) we were caught flat footed, for a generation, as they sprayed unrelenting mis-and-dis-information. The private conglomerates owned all the stations in 2 private equity holding companies (iHeart [Romney], and Cummulous). Rush was put on almost all iHeart stations in the country, even as radio was ‘dying’. He was paid reportedly up to $50 M/ year to loose money. They didn’t care. It was a funding of a political attack. Constant, repetitive, and often from the only media source in some parts of the country. The pattern was only briefly broken with Obama’s populist campaign, tapping the internet for massive involvement and grass roots fund raising.
The exclusionary pattern is repeating in computer AI. Musk bought Twitter, Zuckerberg controls Meta/Facebook. Bezos bought The Washington Post for a song. They have taken anti-democratic or hands-off positions. But Musk also seems to be applying AI (his Grok), to speed up the disassembly of our government. Where is the depth of analysis and tech tools for the Democratic Party? Are we again facing a generational deficit in tools? Where is any political communications, on anything other than fundraising.
The Democratic Party decided that grassroots fundraising won the Obama and Biden elections. What they forgot is that the candidate had to have a message, both to stir contributors, and activate voters. Twitter is a right-wing echo chamber, with no contradictory input. And they have so much money at their disposal that even grass root fund raisers are swamp-able.
Come on team, organize with the latest tools, and let the populace help with the ‘prompting’ to get to our ‘goals’, goals beyond a great fund-raiser.
