Teslas are being torched around the world [1]

The Germans have gotten extremely mad at Elon Musk. Before it was just protests and projecting "Heil Tesla" and "Boycott Tesla" with a picture of Musk doing his Nazi salute onto the side of his Gigafactory outside of Berlin.

Now people are so angry they're setting fire to the cars themselves.

This goes beyond legitimate protest behavior. They could have just stuck nasty letters under the windshield wipers or a sticker to make a point. Tesla car owners need to let people know now that they bought the car before Musk went crazy.
American owners already have.
Four cars were set ablaze in Berlin last Thursday night.
The fires, which also damaged five cars nearby, all started within a half hour of each other in separate districts, including the wealthier areas of former West Berlin, and the poorer areas of former East Berlin.

Germany's Tesla owner's association said owners are so afraid of anti-Musk retaliation that they've stopped parking their cars on the streets.
On March 5th, a group known as Vulkangruppe (Volcano group) claimed credit for a fire that took out a power line tower near the Berlin factory.
They got their manifesto to a German newspaper website called Kontrapolis.
This is one of 10 pages worth. No pictures, either.
This is getting out of control. This is not protest, this is arson.
The arsonists probably don't even need to do it when Tesla cars spontaneously combust on their own from bad lithium batteries. The Tesla-Fire website has cataloged 232 fires of Tesla cars and 83 fatalities from the fires.
Then there's the Auto-pilot software depending just on cameras, eschewing lidar sensors. Suddenly we're not hearing about new incidents. Tesla Deaths lists 54 due to use of Auto-pilot and 2 using Full Self Driving. They stopped being reported after October of last year from all the searching I did.
Besides the four cars set afire last Thursday in Berlin, two other cars were torched in Berlin in January, and two more in Dresden in February.
In Spain, Tesla cars were given the swastika treatment.

Like I said, there are other ways of letting people know how you think they should get rid of their car to not support Tesla and Musk. This gives Tesla protesters a bad name.
On Trump's inauguration day, a man rolled a cart full of Molotov cocktails up to a Tesla showroom in Salem, Oregon and lobbed them at the building. It was all caught on security cameras and the general manager of the showroom said that there was approximately $500,000 of Damage Done. Seven vehicles badly damaged and one destroyed.
In Toulouse, France, a showroom there was also torched destroying a dozen cars, causing $700,000 damage.

I hope this isn't a growing trend. But there are more reports.
Starting in late January, a lady in Colorado spray painted "Nazi" underneath a showroom's sign and started fires on the lot with Molotov cocktails.
March 3rd saw a showroom in Maryland hit with graffiti that said, "No Musk" and a swastika.
March 4th. Tesla charging stations were set on fire in Massachusetts.
March 5th. A man in Brookline, MA. was charged with vandalism by putting stickers on cars. He called it "free speech." If people are going to do this, they should put them on glass where they can be removed and any leftover adhesive easily removed.
March 6th. Seven shots at least were fired into a Portland, OR. showroom shattering windows and damaging three cars.
March 7th. An arson at a showroom in another Colorado town.
North Charleston, South Carolina, Tesla charging station hit with a Molotov cocktail and "Long live the Ukraine" spray painted in red next to it.
Littleton, Massachusetts, seven Tesla charging stations set ablaze in one night.
This week, fires were set at a Tesla facility in rural New Mexico, and at an electric vehicle holding lot in Seattle. Four Cybertrucks were found on fire by the Seattle Fire Dept. on Sunday.
Spray painted Tesla charging stations across the country were graffitied with "Nazi," swastikas, "Hail Hitler," and "Tesla is Fascist."
At a Tesla facility in Lynnwood, WA., six Cybertrucks were red spray painted with swastikas and "Fuc*k Elon."
Other tactics are also being used. In League City, Texas, 44 wheels were stolen off cars in an overflow parking lot next to a Tesla showroom.
Teslas have also been found with anti-Musk stickers and hit with eggs and dog feces. Some stickers had Musk with his Nazi salute and others with Nazi fuc*k off."

Tesla owner's are even replacing hood and bumper ornaments to try to make their cars look like Hondas or Toyotas. Many are selling their cars at a loss to avoid the hassles.
Police have had to guard Tesla vehicles during demonstrations.
It's not just people being criticized for having bought Teslas anymore. Owners have to worry about finding their cars set on fire, stickered, egged, spray painted and wheels stolen.
Tesla infrastructure is under attack with chargers spray painted or set ablaze. Showrooms shot up, spray painted and hit with Molotov cocktails.
It's become a war against Tesla. These tactics are criminal. It's gone beyond just protests outside of Tesla showrooms, offices, factories and charging stations. So far, nobody's gotten hurt.
The attacks and protests have become such a problem for Tesla and Musk that Trump had to help out with the Tesla infomercial at the White House.
Musk, himself, is reacting by making wild conspiracy claims.
A lady in Seattle who co-found an environment protest group called the Troublemakers, helped organize for the Tesla Takedown demonstrations. Musk targeted her group, in a conspiracy laden post:
The lady in question, Valerie Costa, couldn't believe her group, the Troublemakers, was mentioned.
"I was like, uh, we're not Actblue-funded. We don't use Actblue. We have no connection with Actblue."
Then an X user directly attacked her, and Musk retweeted it.
"Costa is committing crimes." That makes her a target now for Trump run law enforcement. The user's full post was even more ridiculous.
Sounds like it's time for a defamation lawsuit. Stuff made up put of thin air. But that's what conspiracy influencers do. No regard for reality. Anything in defense of Elon is cause celibre because Donald loves him.
"When one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful person in the world is saying you've committed a crime, it doesn't matter what the truth is," Valerie said. She has now gotten threatening emails, direct messages, and social media posts. Musk supporters want federal authorities to go after her and have threatened physical violence. She's now removed her presence from the internet as much as possible and gotten a lawyer who told her not to talk to law enforcement without a lawyer present.
This is what can happen if your name or organization is mentioned or attacked by Musk.
Tesla is getting its own comeuppance with demonstrations and serious vandalism against Tesla showrooms and factories and individual car owners.
I can't condone the vandalism, but Musk and Trump have gotten people so upset, it's going to continue.
Demonstrations are the best way to fight back. Anything that's legal to do. Take away Musk's money with the boycott and tank the Tesla stock that is the source of most of his wealth.
Who knows? We might just win the war.
