With everything this administration is doing to actively weaken our nation, strengthen Putin, and put even more resources into the pockets of the Robber Barons — where in the hell are the former leaders of the Democratic Party?
I understand the long held tradition of one President at a time — but the actions being taken by the current son of a bitch in the White House deserve some attention from Democratic leaders, and it needs to happen immediately. Hold a news conference, a town hall, invite the media over for a bar-b-q — but get your ass in front of a camera and the American public and defend the institutions that you swore to protect. We need a refresher course in this country about what it actually means to be an American and our former leaders are more than qualified to deliver an eloquent reminder of just how fucking treasonous The Orange Mussolini is behaving.
If the party was smart it would buy an hour of network time every week for either President Obama or Pete Buttigieg to answer questions and explain why the Mango Fuck Up and his fellow GOP Nazis are wrong headed and un-American. Time to bring back the fireside chats, revamped for 2025 and start taking back our country from this authoritarian dystopia MAGA asshole and his minions.
