Trump's Tesla Temper Tantrum [1]

Seemingly, President Trump is prepared to call any who protest the Tesla Corporation domestic terrorists.
As bad as this sounds, it gives us an opportunity. The bad news is obvious. If protesting a private company is domestic terrorism, then the U.S. as a Constitutional democracy is finished.
On the other hand, if there is an attempt to define public protest as domestic terrorism, three things can happen, and if we play our cards correctly, all of them are good.
If we protest Tesla, Trump has two options. He can ignore us. Or he can have us arrested and charged with terrorism.
If he ignores us, which seems unlikely, he will be seen as a crawfishing coward. For those unfamiliar with crawfish, they always wave their claws threateningly when they feel threatened, then as soon as possible skitter away. This is both a good survival technique for the crawfish, but also how they became associated with a term for someone who acts tough, but always runs away when there is any hint of real danger.
I suspect Trump has way too much insecurity to skitter away from what might seem an easy fight. That said, if he does, we win. As a side benefit, as orange as Trump has become, he fits the cooked crawfish image perfectly.
Alternatively, he could have us arrested and tried as domestic terrorists. Obviously, this poses some risk for the protesters. That said, it is hard to imagine the courts siding with the administration on this issue. If the courts side with us, again, we win.
The last option is the highest risk/reward option. We protest. Some get arrested and charged as terrorists. The courts allow this. Then, things get really interesting, but ultimately should break for our side.
Most in the U.S.A. have never publicly protested. These, “Passives,” might simply ignore everything. However, folks who are active and do not have enough money to buy their own politicians, likely have protested something at some time in their life. All of these, on both sides of the political spectrum, are likely to, finally, be alarmed at the crushing of Constitutional rights. When activists on all sides of the political spectrum align, big changes will occur.
This does not happen spontaneously. We have to make it happen. We must follow through to victory. If we do though, we should restore Constitutional democracy with the type of zeal that inspired it in the first place.
That is a fight worth picking.
