Sorry to ask, but I need a little help by Wednesday. [1]

I've recently had an expense come up that I haven't been able to cover on my own-- a tuition payment from last semester that went into collections.

I had misunderstood the cashier at the community college I took the class at when she said if the balance wasn't paid in full by the 21st of March, my account would go to collections. Well, it turns out she and I had mixed up information about deadline dates and which semester was being charged when, and the due date for a late fall 2024 tuition payment was actually the 21st of February. Of course, by the time I found this out, it was Tuesday the 25th, so collections had already gotten its mitts on my tuition balance.

If I can pay the total balance of $438.00 by Thursday the 20th, I can stop it from being reported to the credit bureaus. Now, I was able to get about half that money from my family, but I still need $200 by Wednesday the 19th in order to make that payment. It's an automatic deduction and there has to be sufficient monies in my bank account before opening business on the 20th.

If I had more time, I would have paid this on my own, but right now I have the bad luck of just coming off spring break-- school job, so no paycheck this week. I have a second job, but that pay comes too late-- the 21st. The deadline of opening business of the 20th is firm.

You can send money to my PayPal account through my email, [email protected], or username Lucy Montrose.

Thank you! -- LM
