We Need Bold Leadership so Chuck Must Go [1]

Senator Chris Murphy is right.
In his most recent video on Instagram, uploaded after the Senate vote on the budget resolution, he makes the following points.
We are already in a Constitutional crisis. He calls it a 3-alarm crisis.
Trump is making moves to create a 5-alarm crisis, which could happen in a number of ways, such as if he disobeyed a Supreme Court ruling, jailed protesters, or shut down protest on college campuses.
If we end up in that kind of Constitutional crisis, we will need hundreds of thousands of people to take to the streets.
The Republicans are violating norms left and right, while Senate Dems are still playing by rules. If we need people to take to the streets and take risks our leaders need to show willingness to take risks.
Chuck Schumer is a good man and a nice man. We need somebody with more intestinal fortitude. Back in the day, Nancy Pelosi pushed him and prodded him to stand tough. Hakeem Jeffries is no Nancy Pelosi. Yes, he got his own people in line but clearly he isn’t able to push Schumer to be bold and tough.
We need to let Chuck know that it is time for him to step aside and let someone with more guts to take over as Senate minority leader.
The whole video is worth watching.
I think Chris Murphy would make a good Senate leader for the Dems but there could be other good choices as well. What do you think? Is it time for Chuck to step aside?
