I think I have the Trump/Musk thing figured out [1]

First, rather than string you along, here's where I'm going. I've read a number of pieces lately about how Musk is over-extended and if Tesla stock (used to secure most of his loans) goes much lower, his creditors are going to call in their loans and he's going to be living out of a broken-down cybertruck behind a Walmart. Sadly, I seriously doubt it will happen.
Why don't I think Musk will reap the consequences of his terrible business decisions? For the same reasons Trump has never faced the consequences of his own actions. They are twins. And now they are living in a perfect symbiotic relationship that protects them both.
Trump and Musk, two terrible businessmen who built up massive legends about themselves. Trump as a real estate genius and great entertainer. Musk a scientific genius who leveraged his intellect into a massive fortune. Both stoies lies. Two neppo babies who convinced other people to trust them.
Trump's strength was “charisma” though I really wonder about that. Seeing him has always made me want to vomit, even before he went into politics. Though I guess that might be another kind of charisma. The Apprentice gave him enough following to allow him to git into politics.
Musk’s strength was some liquid funds (unlike Trump's vapor fortune).
Musk spent money to protect Trump from prosecution by getting him elected. And Trump gave Musk the ability to banish regulators from his businesses.
What neither of them figured on was that Musk's quasi-governmental activities would make him so toxic that his businesses would tank. And the stock slide would endanger Musk's entire fortune.
But here's why I think Musk just handed Trump another $100 million. Every time Trump has been in a corner with his creditors demanding payment, or, like recently when he needed to pay a bond he couldn't possibly pay, money has mysteriously appeared. None of us have the paper trail or he'd be in prison, but the suspicion has been that it come through Russia or Saudi Arabia, in other words, his money laundering connections.
My suspicion is that when push comes to shove for Musk, that $100 million was what it cost for Trump to make the right introductions.
Trump and Musk, joined at the hip now.
