We Are Here Because Biden Failed, And Democrats Must Learn From That or We'll Be Here a Long Time. [1]

On the one hand, there’s this argument, which has the support of many Kossacks (though definitely not unanimous) in the comments:
Joe Biden Was A Good President
I’m not writing this counter-argument to make anyone feel bad. I just want people to get real.
Presidents are judged on their results.
Do you like where we are today?
Biden’s number one job was to protect our democracy from MAGA take-over. He failed.
I don’t care how many pieces of “landmark” legislation he supposedly achieved. That is a result, but it is not the result that matters the most. And I just want people to get real about that.
As mentioned in some of the comments there, he failed first by failing to uphold the law against the people who directly tried to overthrow our election in 2020. That was a failure of duty and it, by itself, probably would have resulted in a very different election in 2024, had the laws been upheld.
Second, regardless of what he was busy “accomplishing” in office, he lost the support of large sections of the American people, and did nothing to gain it back. The POTUS does not get to cry “foul” on the media for that one. The POTUS is responsible for results, and Biden owns that result. And as a President who not only was a poor communicator, but in fact rarely even made an effort (with minimal press conferences, interviews, taking questions and so on), he owns that failure 100%.
His 2024 re-election campaign was so disastrous, as he struggled in the polls against a convicted felon, he was shoved out by his own party in the middle of the primary calendar. The POTUS is judged on results. In his preparations and actions to support a successful 2024 Democratic win, he totally failed.
