Kitchen Table Kibitzing 3/15/25 [1]

I was 17 when I started in the plumbing industry. Almost 45 years later… I’m done. Won’t be eligible for social security and plumber’s pension until November but winding down the business now. Have just a couple days’ work on my final project. That will be completed next week.
Work has been slow since the pandemic anyway. Occupancy rates in the office buildings never really recovered. My work needed people to go to their jobs ...and drink lots of coffee. With trump at the helm ...the economy sinking… seems a good time to abandon ship.
For better ...or for worse… the orchards of my childhood were replaced by the tech industry. IBM, AMD, HP, Lockheed, Atari, Apple, Google, etc… my pipes are all over this valley.
One tool that has been with me almost my entire career, the clipboard I acquired as an apprentice. How I was able to go 40 years without losing my clipboard..?! How many yellow legal pads? How many sketches, material lists, etc... thousands.
I’m taking the clipboard with me.
has anybody thought to hack into tesla...program all the cars to self-drive into the Boston Harbor..??
