I was on the Boise Capitol steps today calling for denying Cloture on the CR and reading Presidents Tusk for filth before the vote in the Senate. There were a couple of hundred people there for a Protest that had just concluded and I climbed the steps and started a chant of “Hey Hey, Ho ho, Elon Musk has got to go” which got an enthusiastic response and then I lit into a speech and asked for support to Shutdown in the explicit point to force Musk out.
I’m not normally a Public Speaker, but I am furious with what I see and could not stay silent or be complicit in advance.
Some very nice people thanked me for speaking up...veterans in wheelchairs shook my hand..
And then the Cloture Vote came and Chuck Schumer stabbed us in the back.
I watched brave Veteran’s in DC marching and protesting and speaking out. Men and women encouraging us to STOP MUSK.
I watched NY’ers in Trump Tower being arrested by the dozens and I heard the voice of Democratic Representatives in the House as they stood up and shouted.
“YOU MAY NOT PASS’
I listened while Speaker Emeritus Nancy Pelosi told the Senate leadership that we must resist and refuse consent to the rape of the US System by rejecting the CR.
She is a savvy political operator who can read the room...is Schumer smarter than NANCY PELOSI?
I am asking EVERYONE who donates to the Democratic Party to stop until Sen Schumer steps down as leader- he has shown us his stripes now- fear and spinelessness are the stripes.
Unsubscribe from all of the text and email money begs. Resign from your local party and tell them it is because of Schumer’s betrayal and say, ”I’ll be back when Schumer steps down”….
Then put Warren in or someone who knows how to fight and stand up to bullies for us.
The Party needs a correction- Schumer must go!
