Well-meaning. Intelligent. Educated. And an utterly craven coward.

Able to obfuscate his cowardice with rationalizations that, once closely examined, crumble to dust.

For this Neville redux, it comes down to the oath he took: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;”

And when he was most needed, when we desperately need him to be a leader in the fight to uphold his oath.. he showed us who and what he is.

The Neville Chamberlain of our time. Bending knee to a bullying despot.

Because he’s afraid.

Neville Schumer, you’ve cravenly broken your oath of office. If you can’t find a spine, please resign! (makes a nice chant)
