Paxton goes for broke on trans hate [1]

Texas AG Ken Paxton has apparently declared that court ordered corrections of driver's licenses and birth certificates for transgender people are void.

I don’t even know what to say, honestly. While solely in Texas (in this specific case), this appears to be a straight-up power grab on the order of Trump declaring that he gets to decide what the law is, only it isn’t just bloviating in this case, but tied to a direct executive action.
