I think Chuck Schumer is the personification of why I have not been a registered Democrat for the last several decades. Democrats don’t fight for anything, they always beat a strategic retreat, saying they will live to fight another day. Well this is another day and they are still retreating. I’ve seen Democrats retreat rather than fight since Ronald Reagan. Rather than demand the removal of Elon Musk and his little band of teenage flying monkeys, Schumer wants the few shreds of power that he still has in hopes Trump won’t make it worse. Trump always makes it worse so there’s no reason to give him permission. Appeasement doesn’t work. Ask Neville Chamberlain. If Schumer doesn’t have the stomach for a fight we should find someone who does. Trump has started this fight and there is no reason for anyone to believe he will stop on his own. Will no one at least try to stop this madman before he kills us all?
