It really looks like there is no bottom to Musk’s depravity when it comes to defending Hitler and his Nazis vis-a-vis the Holocaust. From Forbes:
Tesla chief and presidential adviser Elon Musk shared a post Thursday that said public sector workers, not Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, murdered millions of people, marking the billionaire’s latest Nazi-related post as he and his electric vehicle company face continued backlash and boycotts as critics say his embrace of right-wing politics is veering more extreme. Musk, who has over 219 million followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, retweeted a post saying Soviet revolutionary Joseph Stalin, former Chinese Communist Party chairman Mao Zedong and Hitler—whose regime under his direction orchestrated the Holocaust—did not murder millions of people, “Their public sector workers did.”
So Hitler’s SS, Stalin’s NKVD, and Mao’s Red Guards were simply “public sector workers” now?!?
The post had 1 million views and 14,000 likes as of Thursday evening. Musk’s repost comes as Tesla is facing boycotts around the world that has resulted in calls for Tesla owners to sell their vehicles and posters in the Bay Area urging owners to “sell your swasticar.” The repost also follows Nazi puns made by Musk in January, when he evoked the names of infamous Nazi party members like Rudolf Hess and Joseph Goebbels after coming under fire for a gesture he made at a Trump inaugural event that was likened to a Nazi salute by foreign leaders and Democrats.
In related Tesla news, JPMorgan auto analyst Ryan Brinkman delivers a devastating warning about the EV company’s future prospects, from Fortune:
The current backlash against Tesla across the U.S. and Europe likely has no comparison in the history of the automobile industry, the bank warned, slashing its first-quarter delivery forecast to 355,000 vehicles and reducing its price target to $120 per share. Once again, Tesla CEO Elon Musk may have made history, though it’s not the kind of record he likely was aiming for this time.
For reference, Tesla stock closed down again today after failing to sustain an attempted rally Wednesday. It now sits at $240, 50% lower than it did at its peak back in mid-December, and with at least one analyst’s projection of another 50% decline over the next few months as the anti-Nazi backlash against Tesla’s “swasticars” continues to accelerate around the world.
