Ceasefire...a trap for Ukraine? [1]

Just a thought on the ceasefire proposal.

My understanding is that if Russia agrees, both Ukraine and Russia will stop fighting for 30 days while talks take place on who do did what to whom and what each get to keep.

Isn't there a great danger that during those 30 days of discussion nothing is agreed but Russia doesn't attack again, it just keeps all the land it has stolen. What can Ukraine do? Russia might say, lets have a 60 day, 90 day etc ceasefire all the time keeping all the land and children they've stolen.

Does Ukraine start fighting again and if so, it becomes the aggressor, if it doesn't Russia will just keep everything.

Is a ceasefire a trap for Ukraine?

I appreciate that Ukraine is in a position where it is in a tricky position having to help that thin skinned, depriving a village somewhere of an idiot, Trump get his Nobel Peace Prize

Thoughts...
