Anyone Have A Better Idea Than Exiting Democratic Party? [1]

It seems that the DNC and certainly Minority Leader Schumer’s office has been overwhelmed with messages from a very ANGRY DEMOCRATIC PARTY BASE, and until today it seemed the Democratic Party would finally stand against the dismantling of our democracy, economy, and place of leadership in the world.
But apparently the big money donors told the Democratic Party leadership, “COOL YOUR JETS!” .
i have tried to make constructive suggestions to the party about the need to stand for and fight for the Democratic Party Agenda. which, taken one at a time, are overwhelmingly supported by voters. And about the need for and suggestions about how to do a better job of messaging and winning elections. All ideas familiar to readers of KOS. Why doesn’t the Democratic Party have as good idea as are regularly posted on KOS?
Apparently the Democratic Party Leadership does not give a shit what its most active and committed base of voters wants or cares about.
Apparently, the Democratic Party base would be just as effective attempting to crush rocks with our foreheads.
Unless responses to this diary provide some plan that can convince me and other Democrats who feel like abused spouses that have been abused one time to many, Schumer’s capitulation is one outrage too many. I am done. We are done.
I am on vacation. Upon returning home I plan to change my registration to Independent. The Democratic Party has lost this lifelong Democratic Party activist and voter. I am done. It is the only action I can take that might penetrate if enough others do the same.
Might. Democratic Party shrugged when it lost the vote of workers. THAT IS HOW USELESS AND PATHETIC THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS. Once the Democratic Party was the worker’s party and the Democratic Party still managed to lose the support and vote of workers.
It is inconceivable that the Democratic Party Leadership can be so useless and inept. THE PARTY LEADERSHIP MUST BE CORRUPT. It is the only thing that makes any sense.
