Will Canada Be Trump's Ukraine? It Is Ready. [1]

While Americans are mostly sleepwalking into full-bore fascism, Canadians are wide awake about the insanity at their southern border. Trump’s completely unjustified and unprecedented insults and economic — and even thinly veiled military — threats have made the United States of America, Canada’s closest longtime neighbor and ally, the erstwhile leader of the Free World, an object of intense fear and loathing in just a few short weeks.
I highly recommend that you check out the entirety of the video below by prominent Canadian leftwing politician Charlie Angus in which he discusses Canada’s readiness in the face an American invasion. Among other things, he quotes an expert’s prognosis that an American invasion of Canada would result in the disintegration of the United States — not of Canada, but of the United States.
He concludes: "We are the frontline for the fight for democracy. It is us in North America, and it is Ukraine in Europe. We see how Trump and Putin are trying to destroy Ukraine. We're the second line of defense.”
To give an idea of how the full spectrum of Canada’s political leaders is totally unified in its resistance to American gangsterism, the video below details the economic measures even Alberta province’s rightwing premier, Danielle Smith is taking. Now multiply this by 13 Canadian provinces of all political persuasions all applying often more drastic measures, and you know a whole lotta pain is coming soon to the hapless millions who put Trump in power — and those who didn’t.
