Mad King orders stooges to "rid me of" person he doesn't like, even when they had a green card [1]

There are a few stories that reference this event but none seem to be conveying the gravity of the situation.
Trump ordered his Sec of State to arrest and deport a legal US resident for protected speech using the excuse of “leading activities aligned to Hamas” and then bragged about it!
Not “Material support of Hamas” but “his protest was in support of people we don’t like”
No investigation, no legally required due process, just grabbed him, lied to his lawyers and his 8 months pregnant wife , a US Citizen, about where he was and nobody seems to know anymore.
The Democratic Party’s response? Crickets
It doesn’t matter if you disagree with Mahmoud Khalil’s politics, not just because he’s a human being, but also because if you think they’ll stop there, you couldn’t be more wrong. Look for US Citizens being disappeared soon for protesting the war in the middle east, protesting Tesla, protesting police brutality, celebrating pride, the list is endless.
It goes without saying that the Dems seem to working hard to keep themselves less electable by the day with their failure to grow backbones, but they, and we, need to be shouting about this from the roofs.
