I hope a lot of you were able to attend the Women’s March in a city near you. I was fortunate that one took place just a few miles from where I live, and also fortunate that yesterday was a perfect early spring day in Portland, sunny and in the mid to high 50s. A lot of people showed up and there was joyful energy in the air. I’m still waiting for an estimate of the crowd from Portland media, whose coverage of the march so far has been minimal, but I’m sure there were several thousand people there.

The signs blew me away. Not only were the messages powerful, the ways they were expressed were wonderfully creative.
