Phone calls are considered the most effective way to communicate with your representatives in Congress. But, collecting and organizing my thoughts in writing is a good mental health exercise for me, so I call and write, too.

If you are inclined the same way, feel free to use this letter as a boilerplate. My Rep. in the House is a Republican, so it’s meant for Republican ears, but anyone can use it.
