Former GOP Gov. Bevin of KY Barred from Contact with Son in EPO [1]

WDRB in Louisville is reporting that an Emergency Protective Order has been granted against former Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin for child abuse allegations concerning his son. Bevin is accused of abusing the boy physically and emotionally for years in KY including threatening to kill his son’s dog. The allegation further states the boy was sent to a boarding school in Jamaica where he was further abused and waterboarded. The former governor has surrendered his firearms to Jefferson County Sheriffs per state law.
Bevin lost to Governor Andy Beshear in 2019. He is the second GOP candidate for governor in the last 10 years to face allegations of abuse in Kentucky.
