Remember the Declaration of Independence? [1]

I have been thinking about The Declaration of Independance a bit since Pretendsident 49% was reported to also have been thinking about it. To the point of suggesting that the original be moved to the Oval Office. Luckily, the adults in the room have more ethics.
But my thoughts are more toward a re-write.
Here is the original if you need a refresher.
So here I go…
When you need to breakup with government, it is a good idea to explain why.
We invented government so that EVERYONE can exercise protected rights like life, liberty and happiness. Because we invented government, government works for us. If government is working against us, we need to set things right. This is not just a right, but a responsibility. Usually, people will put up with crap for a long time, as long as they can. But there comes a time when it is a duty to fix a bad government. This is the current situation we are in. “The history of the present King of Great Britain Pretendsident 49% is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States.” Let me give you 25 or so pieces of evidence to prove it.
He has refused to obey many laws. He has forbidden environmental protection laws. He has forbidden laws to help immigrants. He spends too much time playing golf, every weekend at Maro Lardo. He is dissolving necessary government agencies. He is expecting State governments to do Federal government work.
7. “He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners…”
8. “He has obstructed the Administration of Justice…” (See Supreme Court as well as all the stupid court cases for nothing.)
9. “He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone…” (See Supreme Court again)
10. He is using the national military on US soil.
11. “He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution…” (See Putin)
12. OK…no quartering, yet.
13. He is NOT protecting veterans.
14. “For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:” (See tariff roller coasters)
15. “For imposing Taxes on us…” for the filthy rich.
16. Ok, he is not doing this, yet. “For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:”
17. Nor this. “For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:”
18. “For abolishing trying to abolish the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government,” (See Canada, Greenland and Panama)
19. “For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:” (Project 2025)
20. Ok, he is not doing this, yet. “For suspending our own Legislatures,…”
21. “He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.” (See protection during Covid)
22. “He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.” (Climate Crisis)
23. “He is at this time transporting supporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.(see Russia and no support of Ukraine)
24. Not yet this. “He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.”
25. “He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us,…” JANUARY 6!!!
We have tried to convince him to stop this to no avail. Instead, more injury is added. A President “whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”
So, he must go.
