Q. How do I define a beneficial euphoriant?
A. A product or activity that is non-harmful, produces feeling very good without decline in cognitive capacity, increased energy, slow to anger, not easily irritated, intelligent decision making, enjoys human company, and priced so cheaply that anyone can afford it.
Q. How do I define a harmful euphoriant?
A. Any mind altering substance that can land you in jail. Any such substance that can harm your health or cognitive abilities or energy or functioning.
Q. Does the technology exist to discover such products?
A. Yes. Well funded modern science is quite capable of doing this.
Q. Is this being done right now?
A. It might be. But scientific research on improving consciousness and finding beneficial euphoriants is being distorted by the profit motive. To the best of my knowledge, there is no interest in finding a very inexpensive product of the nature described here.
Q. What would be the benefits of finding beneficial euphoriants?
A. Improved quality of life. An end to the “war against drugs”. An end to imprisonment for violation of drug laws. A better world.
