My Irish Grandfather, immigrated to America about 1900. He worked on the Jersey City Railroad. Unloading boxcars with a big hook. He and his fellow workers sweltered in the summer and froze in the winter. My mother’s words.
Many years ago; some guy said, referring to me, “it’s, the quiet ones, you have to watch out -for.” About that, he was, so, right. Only thing, he got right. He didn’t have a clue; how deep, still waters, really run.

FYI Kos Says “ Always Make A Copy - Of Your Posts .” For instance, I wrote part of this post in 2019. Screwed up, lost text in draft. Couldn’t copy. But I had perfect copies because I listened to Kos. Many of the links here, are from that original diary post. Updated, re-researched and edited. Making Diary / Post Copies Is Easy . In A New Tab Open-New Diary, Go To Written Diary You Want To Copy. Select All / Diary/Post-Page Will Highlight. Go To Copy (New Blog Entry)- Paste And Save-Name It Copy And Title. Save Same With Updating Copy - After Editing Diary . Go To Original Working Draft, Select All, Copy, Go Back To 2nd Copy Draft And Select All, Paste. Save , Save , Save , Whenever Writing. I’ve been researching, writing, and editing this post, for weeks. Lost track. A month maybe? At least. Then today, just as I was putting the final finishing touches on it, we had a huge electrical outage in my area. Lights went out, screen went blank. From about 1pm to 7 pm. Lucky for me. I have several, perfect drafts saved. And I save, save, save. Kos is smart. Lights came back on right after I posted. I always set to auto-post Schedule for later. ----- After a few times it is, so easy to do draft copies of your diaries. I have the whole process down to under 10 seconds. And gives me the confidence that I always have a perfectly edited copy, (or two, or three, or more). I write informative links etc. They’re not something that changes. Just morphs into a better version. I Saw posts from other Kossacks about how they lost a diary. It's so easy to avoid having, a “lost diary!” ’I’ve had this happen to me also, once or twice. I had tried to update and embedded a photo. Sometimes this doesn’t work for some reason. *Some sort of notice at top of page pops up. Says can’t use photo, or something). I’ve seen it before and know not to click ok on it. Since I continually Save, I just (x) out-exit the page. I don’t know what it is but know that clicking ok, will erase my entire draft’s text Did that once. Even though I quickly just exited the text in the draft was gone! Never, click on ok . That erases entire diary. I’m neurotic. I make several copies as I update. I just copy-past, new edit over copy’s draft. Often, I make second and third finished copies too. Sometimes it takes me months, years counting updating and editing to perfect my posts. I always listen to Kos. I know how smart he is. He’s a lot smarter than me. And I Always Listen To Kossacks Too! Thanks to the Kossack who advised me that too much bold was not good. I took their advice and scrutinized my bolding and yeah, too much bold, is very hard to read, a strain on the eyes. Bold is like a spice, salt, pepper. A dash when needed is sufficient. I’m amazed at how smart I’ve become since knowing Kossacks. After 15 years here at Dkos, I should have a PhD in Kosology! I’ve always been a hard worker and “quick on the uptake.” Again, as they say in New Jersey. ---— The Hero’s Journey - The Hero With A Thousand Faces . I read that gop Congress people, are all afraid of Trump. What you should be afraid of , is the many voters who will no longer vote for you, if you allow Trump to run wild with his policies. ie Cuts to Medicaid And Food Stamps, Veterans and Education, for starters are going to be a re-election disaster for you all.
