Some photos from a walk around downtown St Pete FL, with some of the landmarks. I sometimes forget what a lovely city I live in—then I take a walk and it reminds me.

The St Pete Pier

St Pete skyline as seen from the Pier

“Old Northeast” is the original part of town from the 1880s along the water

Many of the streets in Old Northeast are still paved with the original bricks from Georgia

The Palladium Theater

The Dali art museum

The Vinoy Hotel

The marina

A downtown street

Open-air Post Office

The, uh, “Fountain of Youth”. An artesian well dug at the old Soreno Hotel for the tourists, now connected to the city water pipes.

Museum of Fine Arts, with its familiar Bombax Tree

Fountain at South Straub Park

Williams Park
