An old man is tasked with protecting a thin layer of ice on a pond so people can ice skate on it safely.
He does the best he can. On sunny days he covers the pond with a tarp to protect the ice from the sun, on cold days he encourages more ice to form by spreading snow on the ice.
Slowly but surely, the old man makes the pond stronger and stronger, and the people are happy to be able to skate safely.
Time went by, and eventually the old man had to leave, it was his time to go. He felt good about the pond and was proud he had made it safe for the people to skate on.
The very next day after the old man left, a giant fat orange stupid pig showed up to the pond and began jumping all over the ice. Soon cracks formed, and soon after that the ice was destroyed, and the pond was no longer safe to skate on.
The people were sad and angry, and soon the pig jumped so hard onto the ice that he broke through a hole, fell into the water and drowned, his fat bloated pig body sank to the bottom of the pond, and the people rejoiced and celebrated.
