This morning’s Seattle Times a teaser from Flatiron Books via AP titled “Former Meta official’s book set to debut next week” (Flatiron Press). The former official is Sarah Wynn-Williams, who was the director of global policy for “seven critical years” at Facebook/Meta.

Have to see if it really lives up to the initial hype, but she’s in a pretty good position to dish out dirt from years of explosive growth and watching malefactors of great wealth in Meta boardrooms, private jets, and meetings with heads of state (she left in 2018). The blurb from Flatiron promises lots of tales of workplace harassment, misogyny, etc.

Color me not at all surprised that gambling harassment, etc. was going on in the Meta/Facebook establishment.
