GoFundMe: Our Cat Needs Life Saving Treatment [1]

I’ve posted on here a few times about various topics, a few about my 123 day ordeal being hospitalized, some about not using AI art, mostly community posts. I spent 6 hrs today at an emergency vet appointment. One of the two cats we have was not feeling well so we took her to the vet.
They found a large growth on her kidney, and her left kidney has problems as well. They told us we need to get her imaging and surgery to keep her from dying and priced it out for us. Around 3500 — 5000 dollars. We don’t have that money. My roommate is currently on leave from work due to disability and I am an actively disabled freelance writer. We live paycheck to paycheck, and we both really love Chiaki. She is a good cat that loves being pet. She gets temperamental when I’m not up at 5 AM to give her pets, she usually spends half the day sitting next to me as I write. She demands water from the faucet, she is very tidy about her fur. She is only 7 years old, and she’s very loving.
We don’t want her to die, we love her so much and we would both be devastated if we lost her. Please if you can help, my roommate set up a GoFundMe to help save her. I’ve seen other people on here post GoFundMe things before, I don’t know if I’m doing it right, but I’ve spent the last 3 hrs crying because Chiaki is almost an emotional support animal for me. Please, I don’t know what to do.
Please Help Chiaki get life saving treatment
