PSA re tonight's SOTU rant [1]

I know many will be tempted to play a drinking game tonight, wherein whether it is for each baldfaced lie, or each mention of “borders” or “illegal immigrants” or “tariffs” or “my friend Putin”, you take a shot of your favorite alcoholic beverage.

BUT — I implore to to avoid such behavior, as there is a high likelihood you will poison your brain, damaging your remaining capacities to engage in more profitable pursuits, like public demonstrations against the takeover of our democracy by a group of clowns, racists, and oligarchs. There is also the not unreasonable chance you might actually die of alcohol poisoning. And we all need each other to fight together going forward.
