Joint Session Speech: Red Card His Lies [1]

Listening to another depressing series of podcasts this morning while working out, while various pundits and Smart People discuss what Dems can do during tonight’s not-state-of-the-union speech.
On DK over the last week we’ve seen a variety of suggestions. Boycott. Stay. BlowOlbermann says they should stand up, turn their backs, and then walk out.
How about every Democratic congress person and Senator bring a red card and hold it up like the gentleman above, for every lie the Great Pumpkin makes. Every lie, hold up the red card. No whistle needed.
It’s results in completely great TV and news photos.
Somebody keeps score on the number of cards/lies during the night, and when all the Reps and Senators are asked after the speech about the red cards, they can say x number of lies for x number of red cards.
It’s disruptive to the Orange Dude, but not disruptive enough to be, if you’ll pardon staying in the vocab, ‘sent off’. Thus the entire Dem attendance will be flashing red cards for every lie spoken, producing a mass red card display.
The Orange Man will blow a gasket fairly quickly and when the red cards keep coming up, he’ll go straight to rage—blowing up his entire speech plan and showing the world his true evil sociopathic self.
I know some of the folks around here are staffers or Representatives. If you like the idea, pass it around and go find some red card stock.
