As I mentioned in a prior post, I have been attempting to talk to neighbors about the ongoing horrors. This is tricky to navigate. Will this person be responsive? Do they see what I see? Are they so far down the maga rabbithole that they think everything is fine?

"Have you seen the price of eggs?"

I've been asking it. A check in for a common perception of reality cloaked as smalltalk. 'Looks like rain', 'Glad it's warmed up', 'How are you doing?'

"Have you seen the price of eggs?"

'Are you safe to talk to?', 'Are you as horrified as I am?', 'What is happening? What can we do?'

"Have you seen the price of eggs?"

I've said. I've asked it. And this morning someone asked me.

Yes, I see the the price of eggs. You are not alone.
