There is so little time, but what I would love to see, to show the strength of Democracy — the power of We the People, and to show leadership by Congressional leaders and to unify of us all, is an announced and timed march of protest, with coordinated voice, everywhere, all at once.
Have the Democrats in the State of the Union walk out and have that be our cue to walk out and join them if in the Capitol, or stand in front of homes or State houses and all together all across the country we sing or speak in unison, in strength. Have this announced to news crews. They could be everywhere to show that it is not just those leaving the Floor, but also those showing up everywhere, are saying or singing, the same thing! Let them see it is not a handful of suits and dresses in DC stepping to the street, but collars too, blue and white, that want to see change. We could stand together, wherever we are.
But we would need a unified message to give it power. A list of quotes, songs or simply a single speech written and shared that we could all read as one, the same something spoken to neighbors and the news, everywhere across the land, simultaneously could not be ignored.
