Musk. Bezos. (Waaaay down the list) Trump.
Folks that want to just tell everyone how government works now, how discourse will be allowed and how it will be limited.
You know, idiots.
They’re trying to get officially named in courts to have all the authority in the world over us— and they’ll probably get all that and more officially.
But not in any moral sense. Not in any real popular sense.
Because they’re dickheads.
What they’ll have power over is ruining the legally run economy. Power they’ll use.
Because they’ve become idiots with no impulse control.
It’s not like this is anything new. William Randolph Hearst and other rich idiots have tried this angle before. Owned politicians, started mass conflicts, hired mercenaries, and sat above the law for a time in their company towns.
So now they’re trying to make America the company town.
They’re trying to stop elections from being elections.
Might even work for a while.
But again — they’re large babies that cry and smash things as ‘leadership’, not figures of actual moral authority.
They’re easy tools the stock market likes to put in power and support to predictably run/ruin companies and break unions — they’re not folks that run nations by any measure.
The ‘party’ themes and memes get stale. The whole fascism game runs on people exiting the game so others can take their stuff — and it always ends when enough ‘musical chairs’ get eliminated.
And no rich man authority is going to force them to keep playing when there’s no room left to play.
There’s no real authority here.
That’s the point of mocking them until the end and ever beyond.
Let them have disdain for our ideas — so they keep trying their own stupid ones to prove our mocking ‘wrong’.
We’ll work better that way once they’ve left us the ruins — we know we can rebuild, even if it’s a shame it happened, and so much was wasted giving them power.
But we will definitely have to take steps to make sure nothing like this is allowed in the name of ‘economy’… since it never pans out that way. Scam artists that markets love make REALLY poor leaders and managers of other people’s shared resources.
