disgraceful and grotesque conduct of a kind never before seen in the White House. President Donald Trump and J.D. Vance bullied and denigrated Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine and leader of the forces valiantly resisting Russia's invasion of his country and Europe. Trump and Vance frequently took turns interrupting the Ukrainian leader, all very deliberately on live television, with the president defending the Russian dictator and the vice-president disparaging Ukraine's war dead as reluctant "conscripts." Behaving like a schoolyard bully, Vance demanded that Zelenskyy express gratitude for U.S. support -- as if the Ukrainian leader hasn't repeatedly thanked the United States and its elected leaders. On Friday, the world witnessedof a kind never before seen in the White House. President Donald Trump and J.D. Vance bullied and denigrated Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine and leader of the forces valiantly resisting Russia's invasion of his country and Europe. After all that, Trump officials then unceremoniously kicked Zelenskyy out of the White House and canceled a planned press conference.

Forget that Zelenskyy is a critical U.S. ally, fighting on the front lines of democracy and defending Europe from Russia. Forget that this is the White House, where decorum is expected and diplomatic events like this are carefully handled in the interests of U.S. national security.

, the president and vice-president did Putin's "dirty work" on Friday. And this is far from the first time the Trump administration has carried water for Russia's interests. Just last week, Trump's United Nations delegation twice voted with Russia against resolutions written by our traditional allies in Europe to defend Ukraine. At this point, Americans should be wondering where Trump and Vance's loyalties ultimately lie. Trump and Vance echoed talking points straight from the Kremlin. As Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said , the president and vice-president did Putin's "dirty work" on Friday. And this is far from the first time the Trump administration has carried water for Russia's interests. Just last week, Trump's United Nations delegationagainst resolutions written by our traditional allies in Europe to defend Ukraine. At this point, Americans should be wondering where Trump and Vance's loyalties ultimately lie.
