Call for Action: Tell your Senators and Reps to Boycott trump's address to Congress tomorrow [1]

The House and Senate leadership (?) have arranged to have president (?) trump give an address to a joint session of Congress tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4. This is not yet an official State of the Union address, which comes at the end of the year; trump is just starting his first year in office. But it’s become a “tradition” (and a dismal media spectacle) to deliver these things every year, so here we are.
The question is, how should Democrats respond to the invitation? Jamelle Bouie makes what I think is a very solid case in a YouTube short that they should boycott it altogether:

I agree with Bouie, and I have written, with some urgency, to my own congressfolks to urge them to join the boycott. Here is what I wrote to them:
Dear [Senator/Representative], Jamelle Bouie, who is the best read and most lucid commenter on American history and politics today, has an excellent proposal for how Congressional Democrats should respond to Trump's address to Congress tomorrow: do not go. I hope you listen to his excellent advice. I hope that you can talk with your fellow Democrats and convince them all to boycott the address. Trump is destroying American democracy. He is destroying the government. He is usurping the powers of Congress as stipulated in our Constitution. Please do not normalize this by treating him as just another president. Last Friday, President Zelensky of Ukraine showed us what real strength is. Please do the same. Do not sit in silence listening to lie after lie. Boycott the liars. Thank you for listening.
