Why are you still banking at a bank? Credit Unions offer the same services, often with higher saving rates, lower loan rates, and with less political risk for democracy. Credit unions tend to charge lower fees, require lower deposit balances, and tailor services and products to meet members needs. They also offer the same federal guarantees on your money. Nationwide and worldwide access to your money is available. Worker’s also benefit, because unlike banks, Credit Unions often share your values and aren’t using their lobbying efforts to rig the system against consumers and consolidate political power.
