Dubiously nominated and confirmed Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh has been mentioned on Family Guy a few times already. It was only a matter of time before he showed up as a character on the animated show on Fox.
In the episode that first aired tonight, titled appropriately enough “Drunk with Power,” Brett Kavanaugh shows up in Quahog, Rhode Island, the town where Peter Griffin lives and works. Don’t ask me what Peter Griffin’s job title is, I don’t know. I just know that he works at the Pawtucket Brewery, which makes Pawtucket Patriot Ale. And you know who really loves beer...

Here’s a quick summary of the episode:
Peter runs into Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at a brewery tour, and the two become best friends, drinking the night into oblivion together. When Peter wakes up, he realizes their lives have swapped, and he joins the Supreme Court as Brett Kavanaugh, and Brett returns to Quahog as Peter. As Peter assimilates his way into the Supreme Court, he is forced to make a ruling on the constitutionality of gay marriage. Meanwhile, Brett tries to become friends with Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe.
The jokes in the episode were rather predictable, but it feels good to laugh at Brett Kavanaugh.
Family Guy has been airing Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern on Fox. The episodes are available to stream on Hulu the next day.
